Lansdale Office History

This is a brief overview of the office, both as a facility and regarding its provider staff. Those of you who have been in the area for some time may recognize some familiar names from the past. Note: details regarding current TriValley providers are provided on their web pages.

The Lansdale office was formed in April 2002 by the association of four physicians formerly with the Lansdale Medical Group, Upper Gwynedd. These four physicians were: Gerald Cocchiaro, D.O., Robert Mazzola, MD, Jerome Sag, MD, and William Truscott, MD. Charles Macy, MD, an internist formerly of the Lansdale Medical Group, was also with the office for three months, until his retirement.

Joining them were two nurse practitioners, Margaret Flaig, MSN, CRNP, and Dolores Dwyer, MSN, CRNP, both formerly with the Lansdale Medical Group.

The Lansdale office of TriValley Primary Care was located in the LMG Building, Upper Gwynedd (1025 South Broad St., Lansdale).

Dolores Dwyer, MSN, CRNP left in the spring 2003 upon completion of her contract.

Heather Lockner, DO joined the office in June 2005 following completion of her residency.

Margaret Brausch, MSN, CRNP (formerly Margaret Flaig) left in June 2005 to return to her home state of Ohio.

Brigitte Harken, MSN, CRNP joined the practice in August 2005 following completion of her nurse practitioner master's degree program.

Naheed Shahid, MD joined the office in October 2005 following completion of her residency and locum tenens work in Minnesota while her physician husband completed a fellowship.

In April 2006, the office moved to 419 S. Broad Street, Lansdale, occupying a new storefront in The Pavilion at Lansdale.

Robert Mazzola, MD retired in December 2006.

At the end of July 2007, Dr Shahid left to accompany her physician husband to a new practice in western Pennsylvania.

Prashant Parikh, MD joined the Lansdale office at the end of July 2007 from a hospital based practice in Norristown, PA.

Dr. Lockner left TriValley in the fall of 2007 to pursue other practice opportunities closer to her home.
