Western Bucks Office History

This is a brief overview of the office, both as a facility and regarding its provider staff. Those of you who have been in the area for some time may recognize some familiar names from the past. Note: details regarding current TriValley providers are provided on their web pages.

In 1993, James Albrecht, MD and Robert Motley, MD, left the Lansdale Medical Group, Upper Gwynedd, to form their own practice. They were introduced to Drs. David Shoemaker and C. L. Chai of 256 Trumbauersville Road in Quakertown and agreed to continue their medical practice upon their retirements. The doctors acquired the Chai/Shoemaker practice and formed Western Bucks Family Practice. Dr. Shoemaker retired in July of 1993. Dr. Chai continued to practice until 1997.

In June 1995, Drs. Albrecht and Motley joined several other local physicians in forming TriValley Primary Care. The doctors continued working from their Quakertown office (256 Trumbauersville Road), which became the Western Bucks office of TriValley Primary Care.

Kevin Reinold, MD joined the office in 1997 from a faculty practice in New Jersey. He has the distinction of being the first physician to join the original group of TriValley founders.

In May 1998 a Quakertown podiatrist who had shared the Western Bucks office relocated. The practice expanded into the remaining portion of the building. A renovation project of the interior space was completed at this time.

Mary Beth Roadarmel, MSN, CRNP joined the office in December 1998, coming from a Lehigh Valley practice. Ms. Roadarmel had also practiced as a nurse at Montgomery Hospital for fifteen years before completing her nurse practitioner master’s degree program.

Faith Frable, MD joined TriValley in August 2006 following completion of her residency program.

Robert Motley, MD left TriValley at the end of 2006 to take a faculty position at Lehigh Valley Hospital’s family practice residency program.

Andrea Pellegrino, MD joined TriValley in June 2007 following completion of her residency program.

In early 2008, Dr Frable left TriValley to devote her attention fulltime to the needs of her young family.
